According to the CDC, over 18 percent of adults 18 or older reported having a mental illness in 2016. In the workplace, mental health disorders are increasing in prevalence, and they can decrease job productivity, affect communication with co-workers, and sometimes even limit physical capabilities. Promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and advocating stress management are fundamental for employees’ well-being.
