How to Prepare for Care

Whether you arrange for home health care through an agency or hire individual help, plan to spend time preparing the person who will be caring for your loved one. This will require at least a full day before the job formally begins, to discuss all that is involved in your loved one’s daily routine. At a minimum, inform the caregiver (verbally and in writing) about the following things:
